Sean P. McKinnon, CPA, CFE

Sean McKinnon serves as the Business Manager and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Whole Health Orthopedic Institute. A native of Erie, Pennsylvania, Sean earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Penn State Behrend. During his final year of study, he joined a local public accounting firm as an intern and later transitioned into a full-time role.

Sean completed a rigorous one-year graduate certificate program at Mercyhurst University and concurrently obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. He later earned his Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credential, further strengthening his expertise in financial oversight, compliance, and risk management.

With seven years of experience in public accounting, Sean worked across a diverse range of industries, including healthcare, nonprofit organizations, manufacturing, and employee benefit plans. In 2019, he met Dr. Ryan G. Molli and subsequently joined Whole Health Orthopedic Institute as CFO, where he plays a key role in financial strategy, operational leadership, and long-term growth initiatives.

In addition to his role at Whole Health Orthopedic Institute, Sean oversees and manages a number of related entities and entrepreneurial ventures, providing strategic financial leadership, operational structure, and governance support across multiple organizations.

Sean is an active member of the American Association of Orthopedic Executives, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He also serves as Treasurer for Do Good, Inc., supporting philanthropic and community-focused initiatives.
