The Wellness Institute is now seeing patients in the brand-new Wellness Suite located on the second floor of Whole Health Orthopedic Institute in downtown Meadville at 321 Arch Street.
Our CNP (Certified Nurse Practitioner) will see every Whole Health joint replacement patient pre-operatively to assess their current condition and provide a mandatory surgical clearance exam. If one of our surgeons or Wellness Institute Coordinators recognize any risk factors, The Wellness Institute staff will work closely with our patients to eliminate or lessen the factors that might be obstacles for a best surgical outcome. These factors can include weight management, tobacco use, diabetes, mobility and emotional well-being.
Conveniently located in the same building, our providers and clinical staff are able to work closely with The Wellness Institute staff to track the medical optimization appointments and ensure a realistic and safe surgery date is scheduled.
